Solstice Health

2024

A multi-location outpatient clinic group needed one cohesive brand after years of acquiring smaller practices under different names.

Solstice Health website design — full page preview

Solstice Health is a fourteen-location outpatient clinic group. This healthcare website design project unified years of acquired practices into one brand and one booking experience — the pattern we use for any multi-location clinic or healthcare group website design engagement.

The challenge

Solstice had grown through acquisition to fourteen clinics, each still running its old website and brand. Patients couldn't tell the locations were part of the same trusted network, and online booking was inconsistent across sites.

Our approach

We built a single brand and site architecture that scales cleanly across locations, with a unified booking flow and location-finder experience designed around how patients actually search for care nearby.

The results

  • All fourteen locations consolidated onto one brand and platform within four months.
  • Online appointment bookings increased 87% year over year.
  • Patient satisfaction survey scores for 'ease of finding a provider' rose from 3.4 to 4.8.
The solution in detail

How we solved it, decision by decision.

01

One brand system replacing fourteen legacy identities

Every acquired practice had kept its original name, logo, and color scheme for years. We consolidated all fourteen under a single Solstice Health brand and site, so patients moving between locations recognize they're staying inside the same trusted network.

02

A location-finder built around how patients actually search

Rather than a plain clinic directory, the finder lets patients search by specialty and by zip code or city together — matching the two things people actually know when they're looking for a nearby provider, instead of asking them to already know a clinic's name.

03

A single unified booking flow across all fourteen clinics

Online booking previously varied clinic by clinic, with some locations still requiring a phone call. We replaced that with one booking experience that works identically whether a patient is scheduling at the flagship location or the newest acquisition.

04

Patient-first content, not a corporate-network landing page

Copy and page structure were rebuilt around patient concerns — what to expect at a first visit, what a specialty actually treats, how records transfer between locations — rather than leading with the corporate story of how the group was assembled.

Questions about this project

What people ask about the Solstice Health website.

Why did online bookings increase after Solstice Health's website redesign?

Online appointment bookings grew 87% year over year after replacing fourteen inconsistent, clinic-by-clinic booking processes with a single unified flow — removing the friction of patients having to call some locations while others allowed self-service scheduling.

How do you design a website for a multi-location healthcare or clinic group?

The core challenge is usually brand fragmentation from acquisitions, not the technology — patients need to immediately recognize that separate clinic names are part of one trusted network. For Solstice Health, that meant one brand system, one location-finder, and one booking flow across all fourteen sites, which is the same pattern we apply to any multi-location healthcare website design engagement.

How many locations does the Solstice Health website unify?

Fourteen outpatient clinics, each previously running its own legacy website and brand, were consolidated onto one platform and one brand system within four months of project kickoff.

“They treated our fourteen clinics like one brand from day one. Patients finally experience us as the network we actually are.”

Priya Chandrasekaran — COO, Solstice Health
